Tony Abbott with an 'undercover brother' mo, Joe Hockey sporting a 'petit handlebar' and Bill Shorten channeling Tom Selleck circa 1983. What's going on here?!

This month, men around Australia embraced their inner mo ala Magnum PI, Charlie Chaplin, Burt Reynolds or Ryan Gosling, all in the name of a good cause - Movember.

We noticed that Australian politicians were not doing their bit so DesignCrowd invited its virtual design army of 400,000 freelance designers to help Australian politicians get into the spirit of Movember by photoshopping convincing moustaches onto politicians in our #PolliesWithMos design contest in honour of Movember.

From clipped versions of the Zappa mo to Alfred Einstein bush and Charlie Chaplin's famous toothbrush mo, to handlebar and horsehoe mo's, our designers had a lot of fun helping Australian politicians grow moustaches. Finally, 181 designs later, Australian politicians were sporting facial hairstyles that would make he of the famous mo', Australian international cricketer Merv Hughes blush with pride.
