Politics is a particularly volatile career choice. One minute you can be running the country, the next you're either stabbed in the back by colleagues or cast out by the voting public.
Sure there are some that stay the distance, but with countries such as The US imposing set terms for leadership, the specter of possible unemployment is always looming large.
So what to do after being one of the most powerful figures in the world? Some globe trot as ambassadors, others return to the back benches to probably nod off during question time and dream about what used to be.
But what if they shifted away from the political arena completely, and into the spotlight of Hollywood stardom?
Ronald Reagan went the opposite way, but it just shows the two roles use basically the same skills. After a career in politics, being an actor should be a walk in the park.
So our talented creative community have imagined what some of the most notable political figures would look like if they took up starring roles in blockbuster movies.
