Heroes and Villains Endorsing Famous Products

Anyone who hasn't lived under a rock for the past few years would be acutely aware the World is nuts for superheroes right now.

Movies and TV shows are springing up on our screens at a crazy pace, with notable favorites including the Avengers franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy, and shows like Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Agent Carter, Arrow, and The Flash.

And the tide shows no way of slowing: noir-crime Batman adaptation Gotham is set to return for its second season this month, while fans young and old are desperately excited for next year's big-name releases like Suicide Squat, Batman vs. Superman, and long lusted-for Deadpool.

With our favorite heroes of cinema, television and comic books becoming icons of our times, it makes sense they'd be attractive endorsers for advertising campaigns.

At DesignCrowd, we ran a contest asking our designers to show us what it might look like if superheroes – and of course villains – endorsed mainstream products.

Below are some of our favorite entries, chosen for technical skill as well as originality in the product endorsement...

This guy certainly knows about hard-wearing make-up

Cleaning so effective you'll turn white yourself before long

A convincing slogan, cheesy hair-cut and good-guy attitude... perfect endorsement match
